Balans No. 60

Located down the bustling Old Compton Street, Balans No 60 describes itself as an all-day and late-night brasserie – serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and (most importantly) cocktails, all day every day.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant was perfect for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The interior was like a warm hug; as if we were just arriving at home to shelter from the rain, and the waiting staff were extremely welcoming and accommodated us with ease. This is especially impressive considering how packed the venue was.
As we were visiting during lunch hours, we had the pleasure of perusing the all day menu. This consists of a variation of dishes ranging through all-day brunches, sandwiches, small plates and large plates. The menu is huge; perhaps too big, as we spent quite a while making up our minds on what to eat!

Harajuku Heaven Bottomless Brunch at Chotto-Matte
11 – 13 Frith St, Soho, London W1D 4RB
Why not try the new Saturday brunch at Chotto-Matte in Soho? “Guests are invited to enter into a world where vibrant pops of colour take centre stage against the beats of the restaurant’s resident DJ Emily Weller and Lucid Stannard.
Start with a selection of small plates to share, including Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Warm Beef Fillet Tataki and the restaurant’s signature Yellowtail “Nikkei Sashimi” with fiery jalapeño and yuzu truffle soy. The menu then guides each guest to select a big plate, with star dishes including the Sushi Doughnut Aburi, Sea bass Fillet Tempura and indulgent Black Cod Aji Miso. An assortment of sides completes the brunch spread before those with room still left, enjoy the Chef’s selection of mouth-watering original desserts.
The food can be perfectly paired with selected wines and beer for £65 or a second package which includes Laurent-Perrier champagne and a collection of expertly mixed cocktails priced at £85, each cocktail is designed to highlight the most delicate and intense flavours of the new brunch menu.
Refreshing sips include Kawaii Kisses, featuring Hendricks Orbium Gin, apple, elderflower, sake, passion fruit, sparkling rose Prosecco, Tokyo Dreams; a delicate mix of Cointreau, Yuzu Sake and Lemon and The Harajuku Girl, a premium vodka cocktail featuring notes of Hibiscus and Chicha Morada all of which provide a balanced accompaniment to this bold and sophisticated brunch experience.”
Chotto Soho’s Harajuku Brunch is available every Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
Grind – Bottomless Brunch

Grind is a buzzing cocktail bar, espresso bar and all-day restaurant. Bottomless Brunch is served no longer just at the weekend. It is served before 5pm on selected days for bottomless prosecco for ninety minutes. The Ivy Cafe Soho will offer “sophisticated and friendly all-day dining to local residents and visitors alike. They do a Saturday and Sunday Brunch (and bank holidays). The restaurant itself is a beautiful art deco inspired space. With options like Truffle Arancini, Zucchini fritti, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Benedict, as well as Hot Buttermilk Pancakes for those (like me) with a sweet tooth!
Scarlett Green

Then have bottomless Frose Royal or Prosecco OR upgrade for an extra payment to bottomless Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
