AD| Uptown Bottomless Brunch at Sumosan Twiga – Review

Bottomless Brunch at Sumosan Twiga Review – last weekend we headed over to Sumosan Twiga on Sloane Street to sample their Uptown Brunch.  Wow – I have to say it was very different from other bottomless brunches I have reviewed (and as the owner of this site, you can imagine I have sampled a few!).  It really rocks the party vibe – do not choose it if you want a quiet chat with friends.  This is out and out party central, and perfect for birthday celebrations or hen nights.

To start with, the brunch has a decent price tag of £150 per person, so what is included?  Well the party lasts from 12 noon until 4pm.  As well as the food (which I will go into lots of detail on shortly), there is plenty of free flowing drinks!  During the first two hours you can drink limitless Veuve Clicquot Champagne, wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and mocktails.  Then the second two hours everything except the Champagne (but it was time to move onto cocktails anyway!).  Here is the menu:

There was a disco throughout the meal as well as live entertainment in the form of a cracking singer, dancing girls, a saxophonist and drummer.

It was loud and lively and everyone was dancing before long!

As far as food goes, there was lots of it!  We started with sharing platters of edamame and tomato and mozzarella gnocci.

Then came the ‘Light Bites’ section of Spinach salad and burrata:

As well as a Maki Roll Selection and Salmon Tiradito.

You could then choose one main course from a choice of Grilled Chicken, Bottarga Tortelloni, Chargrilled Rib Eye and Alaskan Cod.  I chose the Rib Eye and it was excellent – thoroughly recommend it!  My friends went for the Tortelloni and the Chicken.

For dessert there was a mochi selection and the most enormous fruit bowl served on ice with fireworks.  An absolutely stunning finale.

If you are celebrating a special occasion and love a nightclub or party atmosphere, then the Uptown Brunch at Sumosan Twiga is perfect for you!

We reviewed Sumosan Twiga as part of a press visit – as always, all opinions expressed are my own.
