Bottomless Brunch at a Crafted Social Pub – Review

Bottomless Brunch at a Crafted Social Pub – Review.  There are lots of ‘Crafted Social‘ pubs up and down the country.  In fact you probably know one, you just didn’t realise it came under the ‘Crafted Social’ family.  We reviewed the bottomless brunch at the Tank and Paddle in York, but the offering is the same across them all.

What’s included in the Bottomless Brunch?

They have a basic price for standard bottomless brunch (check for current prices here).  The basic package includes one dish from their menu along with two hours of bottomless drinks.  Dishes include (amongst other items):

  • The Melt Burger (with beef patties, buttermilk coated chicken or grilled chicken)
  • The Big Breakfast
  • Pepperoni Pizza
  • Smashed Avo Crumpets
  • Jackfruit Crumpets

If that menu does not grab your attention, you could then upgrade to a different selection of burgers or pizzas or even bottomless wings for an extra payment.

Standard drinks include:

Cocktails, lager, cider and Gordon’s Gin and a Mixer.  Oh and we were also brought a bottle of Prosecco at the start of our meal.

You can also upgrade your drinks for an extra charge and choose from premium cocktails, Tanqueray gin and premium lagers like Peroni and Brewdog Planet Pale.

What did we think?  It was ok.  The drinks were free flowing, though the standard cocktails were a bit on the chemically side – overly sweet.  Might be an idea to upgrade if you like cocktails.  The standard price is reasonable though and the upgrade price is not high.  Worth it for the two hours of drinks.  The food was just ok.  If you want nice food with your bottomless brunch I’d recommend Turtle Bay or Las Iguanas instead if there is one nearby.
