Slug and Lettuce – Bottomless Brunch

Slug and Lettuce do a Bottomless Brunch.  You will need to pre-book.  You can indulge in selected brunch dishes and enjoy unlimited glasses of Prosecco, Mimosas, Aperol Spritz, Bloody Marys, Pints of Amstel, Virgin Marys or selection of soft drinks for two hours! 

Available every day.  You can enjoy favourites like the full English breakfast or ‘Pornstar pancakes’ – five American pancakes, topped with a Prosecco, vodka mango and passionfruit compote. 

If you spend a little more you can upgrade to a more lunchtime menu with items like a BBQ rump steak sandwich, Halloumi and avo sandwich or Tostada topped with chicken and chorizo.  With a further upgrade you can go for Pornstar Martinis.

Searcys at the Gherkin

Panoramic views await you at Searcys at the Gherkin.  They serve a four course Sunday Brunch for a set price.  Begin with a selection from the Bakery Basket, followed by Pancakes with a choice of: Poached fruit compote, crème fraiche or crispy bacon, maple syrup. 

Then move onto a main course from several choices such as Grilled Searcys smoked salmon, kedgeree, poached egg, and crème fraiche, Seared sirloin steak, triple cooked chips, king oyster mushroom and bearnaise or Scrambled egg, blistered tomatoes, toasted sourdough, chilli.

They update our brunch menu seasonally, so, at times, some food & drink items will vary (think sushi in summer & pigs in blankets at Christmas!!).

Grind – Bottomless Brunch

Grind is a buzzing cocktail bar, espresso bar and all-day restaurant.  Bottomless Brunch is served no longer just at the weekend. It is served before 5pm on selected days for bottomless prosecco for ninety minutes.

Loch Fyne was “brought to life by two oyster enthusiasts, Johnny and Andy, who started selling their oysters from a small shack on the west coast of Scotland.  We now have 22 Restaurants up and down the country, providing fresh, sustainably sourced seafood dishes; much of which is delivered fresh from the loch itself.”  Loch Fyne have a good brunch menu including Baked eggs, Loch Fyne Kippers, Avocado, pink grapefruit and chilli and the Loch Fyne Breakfast (grilled sausage, back bacon, black pudding, haggis, mushroom, baked beans, tomato, egg how you like it and toasted sourdough).

The Ivy – Saturday and Sunday Brunch

The Ivy Cafe Chelsea Garden will offer “sophisticated and friendly all-day dining to local residents and visitors alike.  There is also a dedicated weekend brunch menu with some delicious alternatives to our mid-week a la carte and an exclusive drinks menu specially created by our bartender, including some classic favourites with a twist and new creations.”

They do a Saturday and Sunday Brunch (and bank holidays).  The restaurant itself is a beautiful art deco inspired space.  With options like Truffle Arancini, Zucchini fritti, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Benedict, as well as Hot Buttermilk Pancakes for those (like me) with a sweet tooth!

Le Pain Quotidien

Le Pain Quotidien is a “Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.”  On the brunch menu you will find EGGS & SOLDIERS (Two soft-boiled eggs with sourdough soldiers), BAKED EGGS (With roasted Portobello mushrooms, grilledartichoke, spinach, roast onion, tomato,
chipotle mayonnaise and baguette), BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST (With maple cured bacon, maple and yoghurt OR with fruits, honey and yoghurt) and BREAD END WAFFLES (A Belgian tradition, homemade with our organic sourdough bread ends, which are soaked overnight and added to our batter.

ROKA serves contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine.  They serve Han Setto Brunch that you can upgrade to served with bottomless red, white or rose wine, with a bellini on arrival.  All the dishes are designed to share and include items such as Kabocha to bito ruto no karashi salada (pumpkin & beetroot salad with Japanese mustard dressing), Ebi furai to avocado maki (crispy prawn and avocado maki), Tai no miso-yaki (gluten-free – sea bream fillet ryotei miso and red onion) and Kobuta no ribs yawaraka nikomiyaki (glazed baby back ribs with cashew nuts).
