They also do a surprisingly good value cooked breakfast.  Choose from items like the Bella Breakfast (Two rashers of bacon, Cumberland pork sausage, tomato, baked beans, toasted ciabatta, with your choice of fried, scrambled or poached eggs), the Bacon and Egg Pancake Stack (Three buttermilk pancakes topped with three rashers of bacon and two fried eggs. Hot Numbers Coffee

Hot Numbers Coffee specialise in quality coffee.  They say “t is our responsibility as a speciality roaster to select exciting yet ethical Arabica coffee for your cup. We sample roast weekly at the Hot Numbers Roastery.” As well as great coffee they offer a great brunch like a good old sausage or bacon sandwich, or a more adventurous sea bass or Ndija and Spinach Shakshuka.  I also like the sound of the veggie and gluten free Celeriac and potato hash.

 

The Ivy – Saturday and Sunday Brunch

The Ivy Cambridge do a Saturday and Sunday Brunch (and bank holidays).  The restaurant itself is a beautiful art deco inspired space.  With options like Truffle Arancini, Zucchini fritti, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Benedict, as well as Hot Buttermilk Pancakes for those (like me) with a sweet tooth!

 

Las Iguanas Bottomless Brunch

Las Iguanas do a bottomless brunch.  Choose a starter and a main and enjoy with unlimited prosecco or draught beer.  The deal runs Sunday to Friday from 11am-3pm (last slot being 3-5pm) and lasts for two hours.  On a Saturday the times are slightly different and the brunch runs from 11am-1pm (last slot being 1-3pm) by reservation only.

Revolution Bar – Bottomless Brunch

Revolution Bar serve a bottomless brunch every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm (bookable in advance).  Choose one brunch dish for options such as a Brunch grill, or gluten free brunch grill, fried chicken and bacon waffle, blueberry, banana and Nutella pancakes. and blackened cajun chicken burger.  Then choose two hours of unlimited drinks from the choice of Aperol Spritz, Ketel V&T, Blank Canvas, Amstel, Prosecco or bloody Marys.  You can also upgrade to Pornstar Martinis.

Bill’s has a lovely eclectic, home from home, comfortable feel to it.  Brunch plates include the ‘Bill’s Brunch’, two fried free range eggs, smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage, roasted plum tomatoes, mushrooms, potato rösti, baked beans, black pudding and toast.  There are three vegetarian options including ‘Bill’s Garden Plate’, two poached free range eggs, halloumi, roasted plum tomato, charred red peppers, smashed avocado, hollandaise, mushrooms, potato rösti, baked beans, pea shoots, mixed seeds & toast.  Or, for a lighter dish you could try Smashed avocado, feta cheese and poached eggs.
