The Botanist – Boozy Brunch

The Botanist offer a Bottomless Brunch, where you can choose either two or three courses.  Then you can add unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, ETM wine and bottles of Heineken or Sol for an additional charge.  Starters include options such as Homemade Lebanese flatbread, smoked aubergine, fermented red pepper and sumac, kiln roast salmon or maple cured bacon on focaccia, soft boiled hen’s egg, rocket, dressing or a Korean duck sandwich, pickled cucumber and yoghurt.  Then you can choose a main course from Longhorn double cheeseburger, American cheese, caramelised onions, club sauce and French fries, Kiln salmon salad: feta cheese, broccoli, kale, fennel, leeks, walnuts, sesame dressing or Roast cauliflower, coconut rundown curry and wild rice.  Lastly, you can choose desserts such as Sticky toffee pudding and caramel ice cream or a chocolate dome with a berry compot.

The Ivy Cardiff do a Saturday and Sunday Brunch (and bank holidays).  The restaurant itself is a beautiful art deco inspired space.  With options like Truffle Arancini, Zucchini fritti, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Benedict, as well as Hot Buttermilk Pancakes for those (like me) with a sweet tooth!

Las Iguanas do a bottomless brunch.  Choose a starter and a main and enjoy with unlimited prosecco or draught beer.  The deal runs Sunday to Friday from 11am-3pm (last slot being 3-5pm) and lasts for two hours.  On a Saturday the times are slightly different and the brunch runs from 11am-1pm (last slot being 1-3pm) by reservation only.

 

Slug and Lettuce – Bottomless Brunch

Slug and Lettuce do a Bottomless Brunch.  You will need to prebook.  You can indulge in selected brunch dishes and enjoy unlimited glasses of Prosecco, Mimosas, Aperol Spritz, Bloody Marys, Pints of Amstel, Virgin Marys or selection of soft drinks for two hours!  Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  You can enjoy favourites like the full English breakfast or ‘Pornstar pancakes’ – five American pancakes, topped with a Prosecco, vodka mango and passionfruit compote.  If you spend a little more you can upgrade to a BBQ rump steak sandwich, Halloumi and avo sandwich or Tostada topped with chicken and chorizo.

 

Bill’s Restaurant for Brunch

Bill’s has a lovely eclectic, home from home, comfortable feel to it.  Brunch plates include the ‘Bill’s Brunch’, two fried free range eggs, smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage, roasted plum tomatoes, mushrooms, potato rösti, baked beans, black pudding and toast.  There are three vegetarian options including ‘Bill’s Garden Plate’, two poached free range eggs, halloumi, roasted plum tomato, charred red peppers, smashed avocado, hollandaise, mushrooms, potato rösti, baked beans, pea shoots, mixed seeds & toast.  Or, for a lighter dish you could try Smashed avocado, feta cheese and poached eggs.

 

Revolution Bar – Bottomless Brunch

Revolution Bar serve a bottomless brunch every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm (bookable in advance).  Choose one brunch dish for options such as a Brunch grill, or gluten free brunch grill, fried chicken and bacon waffle, blueberry, banana and Nutella pancakes. and blackened cajun chicken burger.  Then choose two hours of unlimited drinks from the choice of Aperol Spritz, Ketel V&T, Blank Canvas, Amstel, Prosecco or bloody Marys.  You can also upgrade to Pornstar Martinis.

Cosy Clubs serve up relaxed dining, drinking and lounging in a really special setting with a dash of nostalgia.  We love the big squishy leather sofas! Cosy Club has an extensive Brunch menu that’s served until 5pm (so you won’t be too late!).  You can choose from the Cosy Club Breakfast – the Cosy Club take on a full English, or go for something sweet like Buttermilk Pancakes.  Keep it simple with a Smoked Bacon or Cumberland Sausage Sandwich or go all out with Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs.  You can also find a vegetarian breakfast or Avocado Brunch.
